More than 200 rooms make up the Bogotá Marriott, the first hotel of the American chain in Colombia.The establishment is operated based on a franchise agreement by Real Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of the Poma Group of El Salvador.
Just 10 minutes from El Dorado International Airport and located near the industrial zone of the country's capital, the Bogotá Marriot has eight function rooms, 224 rooms and 15 suites with wireless internet, business center, gym, pool and spa.
Chuck Kelley, Marriott International's executive vice president for the Caribbean and Latin America, said this hotel will be successful and contribute to the development of Colombia.
By 2010, both companies will develop a second hotel in Colombia, the JW Marriott Hotel Bogotá.
