In the next three years 134 Holiday Inn hotels will operate in Mexico.Due to the opening of 48 new establishments in the coming years, which will be added to the 86 already existing in the Aztec country, the firm (IHG) will increase its participation between 5 and 6% in the market throughout the continent.
Jim Abrahamson, president of InterContienental Hotel Group for the Americas, explained that investments in the new hotels will be handled by franchisees and will vary according to the area.
