Building luxury hotel and residential facilities in Costa Rica, Panama and the Dominican Republic is part of the OHL group's new plans to strengthen its expansion into Central America. The structures will have characteristics similar to those of the Mayakobá complex, newly developed in Mexico. The project, which already has advanced talks with governments, social and economic agents to start the works, would be carried out in partnership with several luxury hotel companies.
At the moment, the group has developed complexes together with the luxury hotel chains Fairmont, Rosewood and Bayan Tree, while it is advancing a project together with Kor Hotel Group and looking for a partner for a new hotel construction.
The new plans could also extend to Mexico's Pacific coast and Brazil.
