During 2011 it is expected the opening of 10 hotel facilities in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which will join the 20 that are already in operation after the figure of 10 million tourists who visited the city in 2010.
The Alvear chain will have two of the three five-star hotels, one in Retiro and one in Puerto Madero, while for the month of March the opening of the four-star Pulitzer Hotel and the Casa Sur Art boutique and the Dazzler Tower, in Puerto Madero, is expected.
In Argentina, investments in new hotels during 2010 amounted to US$547.5 million in the Federal Capital, or 30% of the nation's total.
