For the second quarter of 2011, the doubleTree by Hilton hotel in Queretaro, Mexico was scheduled to open, as announced by the Hilton Worldwide hotel chain after signing the franchise agreement with GS Consorcio Hotelero S.A. de C.V.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Querétaro located near the Queretaro Convention Center and the La Corregidora soccer stadium, will be the first of three hotels that the line will open this year in the country manito, which will have, among other amenities, 100 rooms, a business center, a health club and a meeting room.
For Rob Palleschi, global director of the brand "this recent development represents another positive step of our growth in Latin America and the Caribbean, joining our DoubleTree by Hilton hotels currently in operation in Peru, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico".
