As announced by HOTEL MANAGEMENT, the Hilton Bogotá Hotel officially opened its doors on November 15 in what means the return of the brand to the Colombian capital after 20 years of absence.
The Hilton Hotel, managed by Hilton Worldwide, is located in the financial heart of the city, has 245 rooms, 15 floors and 13 suites.
The hotel's general manager will be Luis Perillo, who recently served as Hilton Worldwide's regional director of sales and marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean. With over 20 years of industry experience, he was introduced to Hilton Worldwide in 1995 as director of sales and marketing for Hilton Venezuela. Since then, he has performed commercial and operational functions as regional director of sales and market for the Andean region and general manager of Hilton Barquisimeto in Venezuela.
Perillo also acted as director of business development and resident manager of the Hilton São Paulo Morumbi, contributing to the successful opening and management of this hotel.
According to the executive, in the first days of operation of the hotel, half of the occupants are local while the other half are distributed between the United States and Europe.
