United States. InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced this week the opening of the first Holiday Inn Express hotel in the Condado district of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The opening of this 115-room hotel increases the number of IHG hotels in Puerto Rico to four, including the newly renovated InterContinental San Juan, the Holiday Inn Mayaguez & Tropical Casino and the Holiday Inn Ponce & Tropical Casino.

The Holiday Inn Express San Juan Condado hotel, owned by A.F.N.S. Condado Investment Inc," is a franchise of an IHG affiliate. This seven-story hotel is located directly across from Condado Beach and five miles from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. The Holiday Inn Express San Juan Condado hotel is also close to the Port of San Juan, and has convenient access to the Puerto Rico Convention Center, the city's financial district, many restaurants, and nightlife options.
