Spanish hotels that have defibrillators have been imcremented by 30% in the last year, according to the Spanish Society of Medicine (SEMST), an entity that is also responsible for certifying that hotels have carried out a correct installation and maintenance processes of this equipment.
This has been driven by new regulations established in the Spanish autonomous communities of the Canary Islands, the Basque Country and Catalonia that force the development of areas that have cardioprotection in different types of properties. Currently, Spain has two defibrillators per 10,000 inhabitants, which contrasts with other European countries, such as France, which have 15 devices of this type per 10,000 people.
This type of equipment can become critical to responding to medical emergencies. Precisely, during the last edition of TecnoEdificios, the event had the participation of MSSP Consultores, a company that implements efficient solutions in management systems for the prevention of accidents in companies and / or horizontal property, occupational risk prevention plans, safety for construction, emergency evacuation, contingency, emergency response plans, as well as technical first aid training, CPR and AED.
During the event MSSP Consultores exhibited automatic external defibrillators in order to position these equipment as one more tool that helps in the reaction to first aid emergencies in companies, which shows that this is an increasingly strong trend.
