Mexico. InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the recent renovation of the Holiday Inn brand hotels, the Holiday Inn Guadalajara Select and the Holiday Inn Guadalajara Expo, with a $5 million investment by property owners and operating company Grupo Hospitalidad Latina.
Gerardo Murray, Regional Vice President of Distribution and Commercial Marketing for IHG in Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean, said: "We are very proud that our two Holiday Inn hotels in Guadalajara have recently completed such significant renovations that offer modern facilities for both leisure and business travellers. As a result of the renovations, both hotels feature new décor and improvements to the outdoor pool areas. At the Holiday Inn Guadalajara Select hotel, renovations were carried out in the lobby, in the 220 rooms, 9 meeting rooms, the gym and in the restaurant and bar areas and including a new area on the terrace of the hotel next to the pixina, called Sky Pool Bar which offers a panoramic view of the City. The 122-room Holiday Inn Guadalajara Expo hotel also modernized its 17 meeting rooms.
