Hotel prices fall across Europe in November
Prices have fallen in virtually every major city in Europe. In Spain, this November, the average price of hotels drops by 3 per 100 compared to October. If last month a night in a double room cost 89 euros on average, now it costs 86 euros.

Although a fall in prices in November falls within the usual fluctuations in low season, this month is especially considerable in some specific cities in Spain with percentage variations that exceed 20 per 100. According to the Trivago portal, this is the case of Andalusian cities such as Seville, with a decrease of 27 per 100, or Granada, 21 per 100, although the situation is also noticeable in other cities in the center of the peninsula such as Zaragoza, 24 per 100, and Salamanca, 23 per 100. Especially significant is the case of Santiago de Compostela, where prices fell by 36 per 100. This is a special case, for the celebration of the Holy Year, which has maintained a good occupancy figure throughout most of the year.
Few cities are in the opposite case and register price increases. This is the case of Las Palmas, with an increase of 4 per 100 and Palma de Mallorca, with 2 per 100.
At the European level, the most important cities of the continent register decreases with the arrival of the month of November. The biggest falls occur in Venice, which drops its prices by 42 per 100, and Rome, by 29 per 100. Paris also recorded a decline of 21 per 100 and in neighboring Portugal, Lisbon is also one of the capitals with the largest declines. There prices fell this month by 20 per 100 as in Prague.
