Plasma TVPanasonic Corporation announced the development of a new plasma model with 85-inch widescreen (16:9) with Full HD High Definition quality, novel design of 99 millimeters deep and lifespan of up to 100 thousand hours.
The 85-inch plasma incorporates neo PDP Eco technology, developed by Panasonic, which reduces energy consumption and at the same time doubles the brightness of the equipment. Its dimensions (2,015 x 1,195 x 99 mm) allow creative installations, as it replaces four 42-inch screens and can display the image of a person if used in an upright position. In addition, weighing 103kg, it is 40% lighter and 30mm thinner than 103-inch plasma, so it can be transported and installed more easily.
This new Panasonic model will be available worldwide from the last quarter of this year.
