Lighting installations for modern spacesStudio Italia Design has created Puraluce, a methacrylate resin lamp illuminated with a circular T5 lamp. The disc shape gives it a modern style. The light of the molded plastic can be installed on the wall, ceiling, suspended horizontally or vertically, and outdoors, by its airtight cover. Offered in single- or multi-disk configurations. This installation was commissioned for the Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore, in the chapel of Santo Aquilino, in Milan. There were installed a steel frame and twelve beams of which cascade thin strips of white nylon holding a total of 576 glowing bulbs.
