Recently, the 195th edition of the Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Federación Empresaria Hotelera Gastronómica de la República Argentina (FEHGRA) was held in Argentina.
During the meeting, the authorities of the Federation signed a collaboration agreement that seeks to promote wine tourism in the country with tourist wines and varietal tourist wines as enhancers of the tourism industry in the gaucho country.
Oscar Ghezzi, president of the Federation, commented that the balance of the event is very positive: the massive participation of all the councilors and the level of debate gave quality to the meeting.
"We have addressed issues typical of a federal entity with international projection, representative of a central economic activity for the country," said Ghezzi.
During the associative activity, topics on copyright, taxation and taxation, tourism, labor issues and the participation of the federation in organizations such as IH&RA, International Tourism Organization (ILO) and World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) were discussed.
There was also talk of executing agreements with academic institutions with the aim of offering courses in different topics concerning their market; Likewise, the scope of the Gastronomic Tourism Marketing Plan of Argentina, which was prepared by the Institute of Tourism Promotion (Inprotur) and the Federation, was taken into account to promote the development, promotion and positioning of this segment in the global context.
