International. JLL announced the addition of Sergio García Somoza as Director of Operating Management. It is a newly created department that will be integrated into the Retail division led by Luis Iñiguez.
Sergio, an industrial engineer in Spain and a civil engineer in France, from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, has a long career in the retail sector.
Prior to joining JLL, he worked for more than five years at Unibail-Rodamco, most of it as operating manager of a portfolio of 6 shopping centers. Sergio also worked from the company's corporate center in Paris, promoting and implementing the group's new strategies in the most important centers that the company has in Europe.
This new department will be dedicated to the strategic approach and value creation of each of the assets. Leading the rest of the teams involved in the shopping center and with a transversal vision, he will produce and ensure the implementation of the business plan maximizing profitability and thus guaranteeing the material execution of the value creation process.
