Colombia. The Colombian Association of Facility Management – ACFM – announced this week its training plan for 2015. The academic agenda offered by the Association will continue to offer free talks for its members on a monthly basis, but will add to its programming working breakfasts, seminars and webinars that will complement the offer and allow reaching a wider audience.
Among the topics raised are, among others, the following:
- How to identify lines of action for the planning, management of operations and maintenance of buildings in your organization
- Introduction to FM
- Development of a portfolio of assets, furniture and real estate
- Leadership for Facility Managers
- Case studies of high performance buildings in Colombian organizations
Max Jaramillo Fertig, president of ACFM, said that "we continue working to make this discipline more and more known in the country. We know that there are many people interested in training and exchanging experiences on building management and we hope that they will find in the Association the ideal space to grow as professionals with other Facility Managers".
