International. The startup Famex has developed a technological platform through which any company or property manager, in just a few clicks, can request or schedule any maintenance service or reforms they need regardless of time or place.
The objective is, according to its co-founder and CEO, Enrique Criado, "to renew the sector of building management and its services, known as facility management". A sector that, according to IFMA data, accounts for more than 50,000 million euros per year. Criado explained that this new platform aims to "respond to the need for solutions of medium-sized multipoint companies such as restaurant groups, property managers, chain stores or clinics, among others".
"In the past," said the CEO of Famaex, "with the exception of large companies that could hire services from giants such as Eulen, Ferrovial and Acciona, companies carried out their maintenance and repairs through a tedious process, contacting up to 70 or 80 different professionals and all through phone or email."
For this reason, Famaex is committed to "revolutionizing the facility management sector by offering agile and simple solutions, which allow you to repair an air conditioner or a pipe in any of its premises, on the same day, and at a good price". "Until now there was no efficient solution," added Famaex sales director Esteban Torres.
The CEOs of the startup recalled that, "after months of thoroughly studying the problems of the market, the team was clear about the solution". "The idea was to transfer the customer experience and ease of use of other successful platforms, such as Cabify or UBER, to the facility management sector and to customer segments that until now were completely forgotten," says another of its founders, Jorge Prat.
