A third of voters have opined that the famous black taxis are the best in the world.
If we focus on Spanish voters, 73% choose this means of transport to move on trips, compared to others such as trains and buses. As far as their value for money is concerned, Spaniards rate Madrid taxis second only to Londoners. But as far as the quality of leadership is concerned, we stand as leaders, with 27% of the votes, if we look at the national votes. In the European comparison, Madrid taxi drivers continue to obtain an estimable tenth place among all taxi drivers in the world.
The English capital has not had an easy time reaching this leading position, before it has had to overcome two strong opponents, first new York, with 17% of the votes, and Berlin, which occupies a third place with 6% of the votes. Rounding out the top five are Madrid and Copenhagen, while surprisingly Thailand's famous Tuk Tuk taxis managed to sneak into the Top 10 beating cities like Paris and Dublin. But, despite having been chosen by European travelers as the best in different categories, London taxis also hold the title of the most expensive compared to the low prices paid for the same service in cities such as Bangkok.

The taxi ride is always one of the first experiences that a tourist lives when visiting a city, so a friendly and helpful taxi driver is always a plus for the first impression of the visitor. On the other hand, we must highlight this mention for the English capital since with a weak pound added to this new award, they make London one of the star destinations for all visitors to the eurozone".
The Auto-Taxi Association of Madrid*** is very satisfied with the rating obtained by the taxis of the Spanish capital: "We believe that professionals in the sector do a commendable job every day. The Madrid taxi is the hallmark of a city that has seen in its streets the evolution of a guild that has become essential. Professionalism, quality service and unbeatable treatment differentiate our taxis if we compare with those of any other place in the world.
