The event organized by Alimentaria Exhibitions and E.J. Krause and which would be held from June 2 to 4 of this year, was postponed to June 2010, due to the situation that Mexico is currently experiencing because of the AH1N1 virus. The decision was made following the government's recommendations on safety and prevention.Other reasons such as "guaranteeing the health of exhibitors and visitors, maintaining quality parameters both in relation to the participating firms, as well as the traditional representativeness of the professional visitor, favoring the achievement of a positive return on investment of our clients in economic and business terms", among others, were taken into account to make the decision.
"We deeply regret any inconvenience that these circumstances have generated, but we are convinced that compliance with these measures imposed by the Mexican government will benefit everyone," the statement issued by the organization concludes.
