A new means of communication was recently designed and unveiled by the Panamanian Hotel Association (APATEL). This is the magazine Apatel: the Hotel Magazine, which seeks to become a vehicle for national and international dissemination of the actions and strategies carried out by the guild, as well as disseminate the offers and news of the hotel and tourism sector in Panama.
According to spokespersons of the union entity, the new publication is designed in full color paper and was invested to have good quality paper; its cover is in 250 grams matt with sectorized gloss and its interior pages are on paper of 115 grams matte.
Circulation will be free in order to position the guild's brand as massively as possible, as well as run specialized campaigns for specific niches.
The new publication is expected to circulate three times a year and its philosophy is to offer 100% positive content in all its sections, specialized and original content, providing a different version of the industry.
According to Jesús Sierra Victoria, this is a project that has been working for months and its objective is to reinforce the task of disseminating the actions of the hotel guild that is about to celebrate 50 years of activity in Panama.
The magazine "represents a different way of informing because its content is aimed at visitors, entrepreneurs, market managers and, above all, all those people linked to the tourism and hotel sector of Panama," Sierra said.
