International. Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division has introduced the new MXZ-5B Multi Zone heat pump system.
The equipment has a capacity of 42,000 Btu/h and 3.5 tons, and can also cool or heat up to five zones. This system is the latest addition to the MXZ multi-zone series, which offers individual zone control for up to eight indoor units of a single outdoor unit.
Among other features, the MXZ-5B highlights the following:
- Five-port system, which does not require Branch Box.
- Heating capacity of 53,600 Btu/h at 47 degrees Celsius and 30,500 Btu/h at 17 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 18.4 SEER efficiency
- Length of 262 feet and 50 feet of vertical height.
