With an investment of about US$ 25 million, the World Trade Center of Sao Paulo, which is part of the Association of World Trade Centers, is preparing to offer the Brazilian capital as a destination for business tourism. The remodeling that will be ready in 2008 projects the theater as the largest in Latin America."The visitor will have in addition to the WTC hotel a network of hotels of optimal quality and a few meters from the Golden Hall, which will guarantee mobility for any event. That facility is only found in the resorts of Las Vegas, Orlando and New York," said Gilberto Bomeny, president of WTC.
The idea of improving this space arises as a result of the second position occupied by the WTC in the Prix D'Excellence, a prize awarded by the International Federation of Real Estate Professions, FIABCI, in Paris. In addition to the obvious need to create a space intended for events.
"With this new space, our complex is more complete and with better conditions to offer an infrastructure of the highest quality that will facilitate the organization of great shows. The WTC Golden Hall will attract national and international events that today do not have adequate structure," said Bomeny.
At present, the WTC Sao Pablo is composed of the WTC hotel, the WTC convention center, an office tower with about 50 companies and the WTC club.
Likewise, this construction will have an innovative structure and seeks to stand out for innovation and architectural creativity, according to Bomeny the idea is that the WTC is a space that demarcates the architecture of the city.
