Follett has already received two awards for its Product Ice Manager. In October 2007, the International Society of Food Service Consultants named the ice generator product of the year, a recognition that was repeated at the recent Hotel-Motel Show of the National Restaurant Association (NRA). The product automatically fills two buckets or dispensers with a Horizon cooler. A monitoring of ice levels determines the delivery of ice to the bucket or dispenser when required. The system can fill virtually any type of container, including soda dispensers. A unique tube ice technology allows the machine to be installed at distances of up to 3 meters from ice and beverage dispensers, to avoid heat and noise.
