Westin Hotels & Resorts and United Airlines have partnered to incorporate Westin's Heavenly Bed® brand products into their first and business class flights. Heavenly Bed, which will be rolled out on flights between New York and California, will include a blanket and an oversized pillow with the Westin brand. Later, United's red carpet clubs in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco will incorporate the design of Westin's "Renewal Lounges." Thus, the guests of the Red Carpet Club will find a relaxing atmosphere with spa-like amenities to relax and avoid the hustle and bustle of the airports.
The alliance of both firms is part of a series of initiatives to improve the experience of their guests. Thus, the Westin chain includes an innovative SuperFoods menu and an in-room spa program, while United has inaugurated its international aircraft with the first business class chairs that can be extended to be horizontal, the redesign of the waiting rooms and separate security and boarding lanes for special customers at the most congested airports, more select menus and wine lists.
