Lionstone Development through its affiliated companies announced two new hotel acquisitions in the Caribbean, expanding the company's existing portfolio to six resorts. Recently acquired properties include The Beach House, a luxury boutique hotel in San Juan Puerto Rico, and the Floris Suite Hotel, a design resort in Piscarderabay, Curaçao. Lionstone and its affiliated resort holdings include properties in Aruba, Curaçao, St. Thomas, Miami and now Puerto Rico.In Puerto Rico, lionstone affiliate purchased San Juan's only oceanfront boutique hotel, The Beach House, a private escape with inspiring views of the Atlantic Ocean. Composed of 17 rooms in a very chic style, the property shows the relaxing atmosphere of the Caribbean.
Lionstone affiliates also increased their presence in Curaçao with the addition of Hotel Floris Suite, a luxury all-suite resort with access to its own private beach. Created by renowned designer Jan des Bouvrie, each of the property's 71 suites have natural stone flooring, solid mahogany windows and doors, and furnishings that evoke the colony's Dutch style with a Caribbean feel.
