The Food Service area, which will bring together companies specialized in food and beverages for the hotel industry and communities, will become one of the great novelties of the next edition of the Hostelco show, which will be held from October 17 to 21 at Fira de Barcelona. In 2006, the out-of-home food sector reached 22,556 million euros and accounted for 27% of total food. A trend that confirms the great growth of an area as dynamic as Food Service, which favors the appearance of new products and services. The day is aimed at those responsible for food and beverages, catering, central kitchens, investors, installers and representatives of communities among others.
At the same time, in the "Cocina Advance" space, a central kitchen equipped with the latest technological advances will be enabled, to publicize how the 4th and 5th range products made in this type of installation can cover all the catering needs of a hotel or other communities.
