The manufacturer of commercial laundry equipment Alliance Laundry Systems received a tribute from the city of Ripon, Wisconsin, on the occasion of its one hundred years of existence in the community. The company began in 1908 when two local equipment warehouse owners teamed up to increase the speed and efficiency of the hand washing machines they purchased from a company in Kansas City, Missouri.
The mayor of the city said during the ceremony he thanked the owners, employees and customers of the company, for one hundred years of service and ingenuity of American manufacturing, as well as their contributions to the cultural and economic development of the city and its surroundings.
