Additionally, in the Gold List, which includes the best 710 best places in the world to be, nine Spanish establishments also appear: three hotels in Madrid, the Urban, the Westin Palace and the Ritz; two in Marbella, the Hotel Puente Romano and the Marbella Club Hotel; the Hotel María Cristina, in San Sebastián; the Parador Hostal Dos Reis, in Santiago de Compostela and the Alfonso XIII, in Seville. This list is compiled through the votes of nearly 32,000 readers of Condé Nast Traveller magazine.
