Analyst firm Smith Travel Research will hold the first Hotel Data Conference on August 4-5 in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Renaissance Hotel. The congress will include presentations from the hotel industry's leading data providers on topics such as: U.S. industry projections, consumer and leisure travel market, hotel demand and industry cycles, major markets, consumer segments, chain scales, hotel operation statistics, among others.
STR President Mark Lomanno commented that the conference "will offer those interested in digging under the surface of hotel data a cost-effective way to learn more" and will give them the opportunity to share their knowledge and that of the speakers in a casual and interactive environment.
