The Cozumel Palace hotel and Aqua Safari, the first dive shop on the Mexican island of Cozumel, created an alliance in order to boost diving tourism and increase the economic gain generated by this niche in the Caribbean. This alliance will offer certified divers in the country and the world the promotion of free diving.Sandor Winkler, operations manager of Cozumel Palace, informed that this promotion, which will be valid for new reservations traveling until December 14, 2009, will be disseminated through the electronic media and tour operators of the world. Divers will be able to get a free two-tank dive by staying at the hotel for a minimum of seven nights.
He also pointed out that the island will be much more attractive for divers thanks to this strategy, also assured that travelers are looking for vacations with more added values.
