Two new five-star hotels will be managed by Barceló Hotels & Resorts in Costa Rica and will be marketed under the Premium brand.
The Barceló Jaco Beach, which will be located in the province of Puntarenas, represents an investment of US$64.5 million. It will have 150 rooms, rooms for meetings and events, spa and a shopping center.
For its part, the money allocated to the Barceló Playa Azul will be US$237 million, with which 248 rooms and 50 villas, event rooms, spa and shopping center will be built. In addition, this project includes the construction of a health and beauty center with 60 lodging units, a hospital and a research center. This property will be located in Guanacaste.
