The fast food chain McDonald's opened an ecological restaurant in the city of Bremen, in northern Germany, which is equipped with equipment that saves considerable amounts of energy.According to the Mexican newspaper El Financiero, the roof of the building has bright black and blue modules, as well as a thermal installation that deals with water heating; Geothermal, wind, photovoltaic and solar energy supply the site with heat and electricity.
The lighting works by LED diodes, the cooling systems do not emit greenhouse gases, the restaurant has a surface heating air conditioning system on floors and ceilings, and rainwater is used to clean some service facilities.
