Around 45 sales and operations executives of Marriot International met the previous week in Mexico in order to create a plan that can reactivate tourism in that nation after the situation that arose in the wake of the AH1N1 virus. "Mexico is a priority destination for Marriott, today we have 18 hotels in Mexico under six different brands in the country, in addition to that country is one of the most important source markets for the chain globally," said John Licence, vice president of sales and marketing of Latin America and the Caribbean for Marriott International.
