The Sushi Itto chain will open 16 restaurants in Mexico and Central America, creating 2,000 direct and indirect jobs. These openings are part of the company's expansion plan projected until 2014, in which 250 restaurants are planned.The chain currently has 112 stores in Mexico, Spain, the United States, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Honduras, Nicaragua and St. Maarten, but according to the company's director, Paolo Pagnozzi, they are in talks with investors to open restaurants in Germany, the Middle East, Peru, Brazil and Colombia.
