At the beginning of October, the government of the province of Santa Cruz, in Argentina, issued a decree regulating hotel classifications in the region.The new regulation incorporates new parameters for the categorization of tourist accommodation, and modifies some of the forms of typification of the industry contained in the regulations created in 2002 at the initiative of the Patagonian Entity.
The Secretary of State for Tourism, Alexis Simunovic, explained that the manual incorporates concepts such as quality, facilities for the disabled and security measures.
