In the fourth version of Chefs to the Rescue, 12 renowned chefs from Mexico performed a kermés, in which each one prepared exquisite dishes to benefit a program of commercialization of innovative textile products, made by indigenous women from the mountain area of Guerrero. The money raised by the visitors' income, as well as that collected through the sponsors, was destined to support the 200 indigenous families working on this artisanal project that was created earlier this year thanks to the support of Chefs al Rescate in 2008.
