For the sixth consecutive year Marriott International, Inc. held the Global Pursuits Mexico 2010 event.This event, which began in London in 1997, with the purpose of presenting the services and products offered by the company in the world and giving seminars for the different segments of the industry, brought together more than 45 executives, representing 100 properties in Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Paris and the United States.
In the 2010 version, activities and work meetings were held with the representatives of the different Marriott hotels to publicize their new products and services to corporate clients, incentive houses, travel agencies, operators and wholesalers.
Regarding this event, Guadalupe Gómez, director of Marriott's Global Sales Office in Mexico, said that the main interest of the chain is to continue the commitment to the country and contribute to the reactivation of tourism, as it is a very important market for them.
