More than 500 exhibitors and 80,000 professionals from the catering, hotel and community equipment sector will be present at the 15th edition of this international exhibition, which will be held at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona, from 5 to 9 November 2010.This event, which takes place every two years, will elect in 2010 the best baristas in Spain, Portugal and Andorra within the framework of Área Café, a space for the universe of this drink.
The participants of the V National Barista Championship must demonstrate their skills in the preparation of different types of coffee and their knowledge about the varieties of this product.
In the Coffee Area there will also be tasting courses, conferences on the relationship between coffee, health and gastronomy, simultaneous wine and coffee tastings, Latte Art demonstrations, and a round table about the certification of solidarity coffees.
The Hostelco exhibition brings together representatives of the sectors of equipment and machinery for the hotel industry; tableware and table service; management, control, IT and security; textiles and uniforms; and furniture and decoration. The living room consists of four areas: Coffee area; Expolimp, dedicated to professional cleaning; Food Service, focused on food for the Horeca channel (Hospitality, Catering and Catering), and Intervending, on automatic distribution.
