With more than five years at the service of InterContinental Hotels Group, Ricardo López has been appointed as the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean. In his role, he will oversee aspects related to marketing, sales and revenue for the chain's 75 hotels in the region.
Prior to joining IHG, Lopez worked for the TACA group as a team member responsible for the positive transformation of the company's revenue performance and was responsible for the substantial improvement of several departments.
Eric Pearson, IHG's chief marketing officer for the Americas, said: "Ricardo brings a wealth of experience and knowledge by having an extensive track record of success in brand development, loyalty programs, technology and strategy."
In this regard, the new vice president has stated that he looks forward to working with the entire team in Latin America and the Caribbean. "Together we will continue to develop our goal to create Great Hotels Guests Love."
