Becoming the second country in South America to receive this hotel chain and the fourth outside the United States, Colombia welcomes the expansion, in its territory, of the La Quinta Inns & Suites hotel.
In the city of Medellín, the first of the three establishments that the group plans to have in that country will be built through its international growth strategy.
According to the Vice President of Development of that chain, Rajiv Trivedi, "we are pleased to announce this agreement with the local hotel operator TAO Group, our franchise partner. We are delighted to partner with them to bring our growth project to Colombia, a very interesting market in the region and in the dynamics of South America."
The TAO Group is an organization that has extensive experience in the hospitality and real estate industry, also provides technical assistance for the Holiday Inn Express brand in the city of Medellín.
For Luis Fernando Toro, representative of this company "this is a promising moment for the construction industry in Colombia and is key in the expansion of the La Quinta Inns & Suites brand".
Likewise, the president and CEO of the hotel chain, Wayne Goldberg, said that this is another testimony of "our commitment to guest satisfaction and the relationship we have with our partners."
