According to a study carried out by the Cámara Costarricense de Hoteles (CCH) the Easter season will bring high occupancy levels for hotels in that country. In addition, it is expected that there will be an increase compared to the figures reached last year.
In fact, according to their forecasts, they expect that on average 84% occupancy will be maintained for beach and mountain destinations.
This would represent an increase of 9 points compared to the figures achieved last year during the same period. Some destinations expect even better results. Puntarenas, for example, expects to reach an occupancy of 92%. While the South Pacific region expects to reach 91%.
Although beach and mountain destinations are still the favorites of local tourists, with an occupancy expectation of 85% and 81% respectively; when making the balance sheet of the whole country, the Prediction of the Chamber stands at an average of 68% for this period of the year.
