Nearly 300 entrepreneurs and investors from the hotel and tourism market from all over the world will actively participate in the fifth edition of the South American Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference (SAHIC 2012).
The event, which seeks to promote hotel and tourism businesses and real estate projects, will be held in the city of Lima, Peruvian capital, on September 10 and 11.
Among the guests is also expected the presence of international banks that have shown interest in Peruvian territory.
The Peruvian Hotel Society (SHP) will host the conference. This guild brings together the main establishments of the hospitality industry corresponding to the five-star segment and boutiques in Peru.
According to Arturo García, president of Sahic, "this is an international event that allows us to get to know the hotel and tourism sector of the place where it is held. During its execution, the conference gives knowledge of the development opportunities in these areas and allows to find suitable partners, as well as to build the alliances that enhance the business possibilities".
Some 2,000 senior executives and businessmen have participated in this event since its launch that has passed through different South American cities such as Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena de Indias and Santiago de Chile.
For this version of Sahic it is expected to address issues related to hotel development, the resort market and leisure or tourism projects in the south of the American continent.
"This is a mandatory annual meeting for those who work in this industry, and especially for entrepreneurs who have projects in development. Here the networking between key players and professionals with decision-making power is the protagonist," garcía concluded.
