Losses of $12.6 million euros reported by the NH Hoteles chain in its financial report for the first half of this year.
Compared to 2011, the hotel group showed 19.9% higher losses, as a result of the European economic crisis that affected the company's operations in some of its main markets.
As for revenues, the group reported that until June they had reached $651.8 million euros, which compared to the $676.9 achieved last year represent a decrease of 3.7% in that item.
However, the positive note was put by the results of the Business Unit oriented to America, which continues to show a good performance, with a RevPar growth of 5.1% and an increase of 8.4% in the average price of the room.
