With an average occupancy of 56% and about 54,000 tourists staying in the summer season, the state of Zacatecas, Mexico, achieved an increase in its figures for this period of the year.
The key to the good performance of this destination and the improvement in the metrics regarding the arrival of tourists and use of hotel services, is due, according to the state authorities, to the promotional work carried out during the last year.
Precisely, Pedro Inguanzo González, Secretary of Tourism of the state, also explained to the local media that the realization of different events, festivals, fairs and congresses contributed to attract a greater number of guests.
He also highlighted the impact of the offers made in hotels, restaurants and places of tourist interest, in which discounts and special prices were counted during the season.
