The private multinational of real estate services and asset management Cushman & Wakefield, better known as C& W, has announced its expansion plans in Colombia, a country in which it has been operating for seven years from the city of Bogotá.
The company has a portfolio that covers the entire life cycle of a property, from its conception, through its operation, to the remodeling and demobilization.
C&W has a presence in more than 60 countries with 234 offices, to which more than 15,000 employees are linked.
"We are considering opening new offices in Cali and Medellín to support the growth of the company in these regions, as our idea is to achieve a coverage of services at the national level like the one we currently have in Brazil," said Jose Belfort Mattos, Executive Managing Director for Colombia and Peru.
In Latin America it has a workforce of close to 2,700 people, with operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.
In Colombia he began activities related to real estate, and by 2010 he began to venture into the area of asset management: Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, Property Management and Project Management.
"Since our arrival we have seen that this is a country with a lot of potential, due to its sustainable and continuous economic growth, which has allowed us to have an enriching experience, and perceive a lot of interest in our way of operating by local companies," said the executive.
Among its portfolio of clients are General Electric, Mastercard, Citibank, Pfizer, Ericsson, Itaú BBA, CCX, Bavaria, among others.
