Colombia. The Colombian Council of Sustainable Construction (CCCS) announced that it will hold a course on Updating existing buildings, RETROFIT in the city of Medellín on September 5 and 6.
As explained from the CCCS, at the end of the course the attendees will be able to evaluate the overall performance of the buildings that are in operation. The course will have a practical component with which it will seek to perform exercises that will allow creating strategies to improve energy performance, environmental impact and the interior quality of the spaces.
Likewise, different mechanisms will be analyzed to quantify and implement measures to improve performance, reduce operating costs, properly maintain equipment and systems and reduce CO2 emissions.
This seminar will be taught by the architect and engineer Esteban Martínez and will last twelve hours. For more information on how to register you can visit the Council's website.
