Mexico. KNX, the most important home automation standard in Europe, announced that in the face of the growth of automation in Mexico, it forms its association in this country. Its main objective will be to train and update companies, specialists, technicians and distributors in this standard with great growth at an international level.
"KNX is a non-profit association, responsible for the dissemination and promotion of this protocol, with its official establishment in Mexico, will not only encourage the use of KNX, but also help promote home automation projects throughout the country, helping in projects and sales," said Casto Cañavate, Marketing Manager of KNX International.
He stressed that the members of KNX are: Companies that manufacture or distribute products in the national market; wholesalers and distributors: companies that distribute products in the domestic market.
As well as companies, which participate in the integration of KNX solutions in homes and buildings (designers, system integrators, consultants, prescribers and architects), users, private individuals or companies that use KNX solutions (owners of buildings and homes, national builders of houses, KNX Training Centers and Universities).
In addition to companies with communication activities (agencies, advertising companies, organizers of fairs and congresses).
Among the activities of the KNX National Groups are: participation in the most important national events: trade fairs, press conferences, presentations; organization of conferences with all members of the KNX National Group, delegates of the KNX International Association and international KNX member companies.
In addition to the preparation of KNX Workshops, as well as energy efficiency forums for architects, Organization of the KNX National Award for the best local KNX projects, creation of publications in magazines and specialized press, creation of KNX packages, including the products and information of its members, and cooperation with local institutions, among others.
