Aruba. The city of Oranjestad, Aruba was the setting chosen by Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Cooling & Heating Division to bring together 29 of its allied companies in an International Distributor Conference. This annual event, held November 3-6 at the Renaissance Hotel, is designed to recognize the ongoing work of these strategic partners.
Rey Benzor, director of the company's international business unit, said: "We recognise the important role our distributors play and know that these long-term partnerships are essential to our continued success and growth in the market.
The three-day conference included among its activities an overview of sales, both residential and commercial, of the last year, as well as several presentations by high-level executives focused mainly on brand positioning and advertising initiatives to continue growing in the international market.
Finally, one of the most important activities of the meeting was the recognition of distributors whose performance exceeded expectations during the past year.
MpG y Asociados of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, received the Distributor of the Year Award, which is given to the organization that surpasses all others in market development, sales and service levels.
In addition, the companies MPG y Asociados and INELEC Ingeniería y Proyecto Eléctricos, from Honduras, received the 2014 Superior Sales Award. While the Innovation Award went to Pro-Tec Mechanical Contractors, from Aruba.
