More than $1 million worth of Allegion-branded products will be used to equip the Sanford Medical Center, located in North Dakota, United States, which is under construction and will open in 2017. The new health center will be the state's largest property of its kind and will have capacity for 384 beds, pediatric services, trauma, neonatal care, cardiac services, orthopedics and neurosurgery.
Among the Allegion products that the installation will have, are cylindrical locks, a key system, electronic locks, doors for emergency exits, and in general a wide variety of accessories for doors.
When asked bob Wold, Sandford's chief locksmith, about the reasons for choosing Allegion as his primary supplier of doors and locks, the official explained that several of the buildings belonging to Sanford Health feature products from the brand, so the positive experience in the past was the key to choosing them again.
