Mexico. Nearly 700,000 square meters in new office space will be added to Mexico City's real estate offer, with the construction of nine new buildings for the corporate sector that are expected to be occupied by companies in the energy and telecommunications sector.
This increase forecast for 2015 represents three times the number of square meters that increased last year. In 2014 the city received 11 new corporate buildings for a total of 230 thousand square meters, according to data provided by the company CBRE.
Among the office buildings that the city will open are the BBVA Bancomer Tower with 73,400 square meters; Torre Virreyes, with 60,900 meters; towers B and C of Toreo with 60 thousand; among others.
"The market is very dynamic, there will be many transactions and several buildings that are not yet finished will have operations that occupy them in large part or totally," Pablo Yrizar, senior vice president of CBRE Mexico, explained to local media.
