Panama. José Luis Correa, director of the company KW Ingenieria, is the first confirmed speaker for TecnoEdificios 2015. This professional expert in sustainable construction will be in charge of the talks "Enhance sustainability with greater user commitment" and "LEED Certification from an Operation and Maintenance approach".
Correa is a Mechanical Engineer, LEED AP O+M, with a Master of Science in "Sustainable Design Engineering" obtained at a renowned university in London, England. He is also a member of ASHRAE Colombia chapter. He has more than six years of experience in the sustainable construction sector, during which he has developed topics related to the optimization of energy consumption and indoor air quality in buildings.
Likewise, he defines himself as a professional committed to LEED environmental certification both commercially and educationally; he has been LEED AP and LEED advisor of several projects at the national level, in his native Colombia, and internationally.
The organization of TecnoEdificios said that "maintaining a high quality among our speakers is a priority in each edition of the event. We know that Correa's experience in his field will offer those attending the academic program tools that they can use in their day to day as professionals."
TecnoEdificios 2015 will be held at the Hotel El Panama, Panama City, on June 4 and 5, 2015.
